Obituary

Robert J. STILES, 80, of Westfield, PA, died Wednesday, June 15, 2022 in his home.  

Born November 18, 1941, in New Castle, he was the son of Therold and Mildred Stewart Stiles.  A graduate of Galeton Area High School, he was employed by Walmart, Chattanooga Labeling, and Ulysses Lumber.  Bob enjoyed woodworking, reading westerns, especially Louis L’Amour, drawing, and time with family.  

Surviving are:  four daughters, Teresa (James) Mehaffey, Laura (Shawn) Houghtaling, Gail Smith, and Cheryl Kio;  eight grandchildren, Arlene Courtright Neddo, Harley Courtright, Kolby Houghtaling, Felicia Morseman, Lacy Jo Smith, Ronald Smith, Brandon Kio, and Brian Kio;  nine great-grandchildren;  four siblings, June (James) Dodson, Betty Snyder, Darlene Davenport, and Thomas Stiles;  nieces, and nephews.  He was predeceased by his Janet Louise Stiles on February 10, 2001;  long-time companion, Barbara Peet on May 2, 2014;  and a brother, Stewart Stiles.  

Services will be private.  Burial will be in Parker Hill Cemetery, Sunderlinville.
